In Genesis 22:5, "And Abraham said to his young men, You stay here with the donkey. And I and the boy will go on to this way and worship, and come again to you", we read that Abraham told Isaac that they are going to worship God and return later.  Abraham fully understood that what God had promised, He is faithful to perform.

It becomes evident that Abraham had a revelation that obedience is worship.  Obedience is the highest form of worship.

Come and worship God; enter His throne room, get quite, listen to His every instruction and be obediant to what He says.
